Is it time to replace your boiler?

The average life of a boiler is usually between 8-12 years, depending on multiple factors, such as, use, maintenance and type of boiler. So if you have noticed that your energy bills have increased or your home is taking longer than usual to heat up, then now might be the perfect time for a boiler upgrade.

How is your boiler performing?

  • Have you got the same boiler that was installed when your house was first built?
  • Have you noticed your boiler is breaking down regularly?
  • Is your home not as warm as it has been in previous years?

If the answer is yes then it might be time to replace your boiler. The first step is to organise a service with your local installer. TAF Plumbing provide boiler upgrades and servicing throughout Dublin and neighbouring counties of Meath, Kildare and Wicklow.

Worcester Bosch boilers come in gas, propane (LPG), and oil fuel types so you will definitely find a boiler to suit your home.  Worcester Bosch provide the following boilers:

Combi Boilers

Combination, or combi, boilers produce both heating and hot water on demand, without the need for a cylinder. A great solution for properties with limited space thanks to their compact, single unit form.

System Boilers

System boilers use a cylinder to store hot water, but the majority of heating still takes place in the boiler itself. Ideal for homes with multiple bathrooms where hot water is in high demand.

Regular Boilers

Regular, more traditional boilers, use hot water cylinder as well as a cold water and additional storage tank, usually in the loft space. A good option for replacing existing old boilers without updating the entire central heating system.

We know that buying a new boiler can be a daunting and confusing task.
